I have been an energy worker all my life. After retiring from the Naval Criminal Investigative Service as a GS-12 Security Specialist in January 1996, I devoted myself to a full time study of energy and its effect on the human body/mind/spirit.
Introduced to Reiki in 1990, after attending the Nine Gates Mystery School in 1996, I began working with this powerful hands-on modality. In 1998, I established the Mountain and Mist Reiki Center in San Diego. Since then, I have apprenticed with a Hawaiian Kahuna for eight years; staffed and taught at the Nine Gates Mystery School; participated in an International Reiki Master Congress in Tokyo, Kyoto and Mount Kurama; developed several workshops with partners in Hawaii and England, and traveled to Utah, Illinois, Virginia, Arizona, South Carolina, and Canada teaching and facilitating workshops.
My late husband and I were co-founders of the San Diego Reiki Corps, an organization that now has over 150 Reiki practitioners and teachers. I volunteered for over ten years at Sharp Memorial Hospital in San Diego and for three years with The Elizabeth Hospice in Escondido, CA.
Healing is my passion and my purpose. And training others to become healers is one of my greatest pleasures. I hope you enjoy exploring my website, learning about Reiki, Huna, Ho’o Pono Pono, and other ancient healing traditions. SERVICES
REIKI
Reiki is a process of energy transference from the universal source to an individual. Practitioners are individuals dedicated with intent to be a conduit for this energy and have undergone a series of classes and attunements in preparation.
HUNA
Ka is the Hawaiian word for Keeper; Huna is the Hawaiian word for Secret. Ho’o Pono Pono is a system developed hundreds of years ago that recognizes the power of the mind, the three levels of consciousness, and enables one to reclaim their power and take back responsibility for self in all aspects of life.
MARY MAGDALENE CIRCLE
The Mary Magdalene Circles bring together a group of women who dedicate a portion of their time to working with the compassionate, loving energy of Mary Magdelene for the benefit of the planet and all of its people. Circles meet monthly to share the energies of Mary Magdalene.
JOURNEY TO THE PAST WORKSHOP
The Journey to the Past Workshop blends lessons learned from Native Americans with the mysteries of Hawaiian healing to journey to your ancestral lines with the purpose of releasing old patterns and habits developed eons ago that no longer serve you in the present time.
